Volunteer since 2003 in the areas of Certification, Training, Ethics, and on the Board of Directors
When Mark went through BCFE in 2001, he felt like it was a groundbreaking time for law enforcement to use computer forensics to solve crimes. The excellent training delivered by high-caliber instructors who were all volunteers really impressed Mark and inspired him to pay it forward. The continuous networking with IACIS instructors and students was a continuing learning experience he valued as well. His involvement in the organization aligned with his belief that the core mission of all law enforcement officers was to help others and give back to the community.
In the spring of 2023, Mark established his own company, Rockridge Forensics, LLC, where he consults, trains, and performs computer and cell phone forensics.
Mark and his wife spend their quality time exploring the land in their RV, which helps them meet and learn about other people and regions. Mark enjoys fishing, which he happily reports that his wife has now taken to this activity as well. Mark considers himself to like most things in life, except for when it comes to his picky palate. He places canned green peas, coconut flakes, and sushi at the bottom of his list of favorites.
