Alan was Cellebrite’s Director of International Trainers
and was Senior Trainer with nearly two decades of experience in digital forensics.
Alan spent thirty years policing London and retired from the Counter Terrorism Command at New Scotland Yard as a Detective Sergeant running the High-Tech Unit. He worked as a financial investigator with the Central London Crime Squad investigating the finances of drug dealers and seizing their assets. He first became involved in digital forensics whilst employed in a major internal corruption investigation and started the Digital Forensics Unit at CIB3. Alan moved from there to head the High-Tech Unit at the Anti Terrorist Branch at Scotland Yard (SO13), this became the Counter Terrorism Command (SO15). He was involved in the investigations into terrorist activity including the attacks on the London Transport system in July 2005. He worked on the conspiracy to attack trans Atlantic aircraft with liquid explosives that resulted in changes to airport security globally.
Alan then spent six years working for Vodafone Group as a Forensic Investigator and Investigations Manager. He had an international remit with the world’s largest international mobile phone company by subscriber. Whilst serving in law enforcement and commerce Alan has served as a trainer with the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists. Alan is CFCE certified with IACIS and CCME certified with Cellebrite. Alan Joined Cellebrite Training in 2014 and is based in the United Kingdom.
