Jasun Hawkins is an Associate Professor at Ferris State University in the Information Security and Intelligence program in Big Rapids, Michigan. Additionally, Jason is a retired law enforcement detective and currently a contract analyst for the Michigan State Police. He currently has 10 years experience in the field of digital forensics.
Prior to his career in law enforcement, Jasun served in the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman in 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment and was deployed to the Mediterranean, Korean peninsula, and Okinawa.
Jasun received a Bachelor of Science in Information Security with a concentration in Digital Forensics, a Master of Science in Information Systems Management, and PhD in Information Technology with dissertation in Cyber security. He holds the IACIS CFCE, Cellebrite CCPA and CCO certifications currently and is a published author.
