Volunteer since 2000 in the areas of Certification, Training, and on the Board of Directors.
In 2000, Dan attended the BCFE course and could not have been more impressed with the passion and dedication of the volunteers. He was equally inspired by his coach during the CFCE certification process. In November of 2000, after achieving his CFCE, he immediately started to volunteer for the organization. The purpose and mission of IACIS was enough for him to have a desire to volunteer, but more importantly, it was the people of IACIS that made volunteering fulfilling and enjoyable. This is why he is a proud member of 20+ years.
Dan is a Chief at the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and teaches for the University of Central Florida’s Master of Science in Digital Forensics program. As a Floridian, he enjoys his time with his wife and kids boating along the local rivers and saltwater sanctuaries of the coasts. He and his son are avid fishermen and spend a lot of time saltwater fishing, mainly on the east coast. For 35 years, he has been playing drums and percussion instruments. Currently, he plays drums at his church during worship services.
