Volunteer since 2015 in the areas of Training, Certification, Volunteer Recognition, Marketing, and the Board of Directors.
When Rich first stepped into the 2015 IACIS BCFE training room in Orlando, he was in sheer awe at the size of the event and became increasingly impressed with the volunteers and their efforts during those two weeks. After observing the massive production and its success, he was inspired to be a part of it all. Rich immediately started volunteering his time after obtaining his CFCE in 2015. He has served multiple roles for IACIS since then and is currently acting as Treasurer and Vendor Liaison for the organization.
Away from his duties as a digital forensics examiner for criminal investigations, Rich takes advantage of one of the 27 annual passes for rollercoaster parks that he holds with his 11-year-old son. They have traveled near and far across three countries to increase their coaster credit count. In the past two years, they have ridden over 100 different rollercoasters together! Rich admits that those extreme numbers include embarrassing himself in line with toddlers for the “kiddie credits.” His supportive son says, “A credit is a credit,” and rightfully so! Rich, however, will not be found on any ride that spins, especially the dreaded teacups at Disneyworld.
