Volunteers since 2014 in the areas of Certification and Online Training.
Like most BCFE attendees, Vince and Laura were inspired by the volunteers who dedicated their time for IACIS. The BCFE course, however, affected the direction of both their lives in 2014 in an unexpected way. Vince and Laura met as students, immediately recognized a meaningful connection, and have been building a life together since 2014. They both started volunteering as peer review coaches right after obtaining their CFCE and have expanded their commitment to Online Training. Vince is currently the Northeast Regional Manager for Certification and the Online Training Chairman. Laura serves as the CFCE Certification Chairman and is a member of the Online Training Committee.
Vince works as a computer crime program manager for US Army CID, while Laura is a digital forensic examiner for Deloitte, in service of DEA. They both are also adjunct instructors for digital forensics college courses online. Together, they enjoy traveling and finding cideries and breweries. They have two kids and will soon be welcoming a baby girl. Vince can be found going to baseball games, woodworking, fishing, and playing roller hockey. Laura fills her leisure time with field hockey, puzzles, gardening, and petting all the dogs. Vince is unsure which is worse—the sound of vacuums or rooting for the NY Yankees. Laura would put condiments (yes, all the sauces) and action movies at the bottom of her love list.
